Question: How do I start Muay Thai?

Answer: You can telephone Nick to get information about the current classes or arrive on the night at the venue and times advertised on the website.

Question: Is the Unity Gym suitable for a person with no previous Muay Thai or Martial Arts experience?

Answer: We welcome everyone from beginners to pro fighters. Your first lesson will be a one on one introduction, with a qualified and experienced instructor, taking you through the basics. No previous Muay Thai or Martial Arts experience is necessary.

Question: What training gear should I wear?

Answer: There is a traditional uniform that some Students may wear, although most wear the club T-Shirt and Thai Boxing Shorts. However, all you need to start is a T-Shirt a pair of shorts or tracksuit bottoms.

Question: My fitness is not 100%. Will I be able to cope with the training?

Answer: Generally you start Muay Thai for one of three reasons. To improve your fitness, to learn the art of Muay Thai or to become a fighter. At the Soul of Sukhothai Camp the instructors understand that everyone has different fitness levels. Our aim is to raise your level no matter what it may be.

Question: Who can train at the Unity Gym?

Answer: Our classes are open to both men and women in mixed classes. We also have junior classes for under 16's that are mixed too.
